Located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, only 30 minutes from Portland, the Senior Estates in Woodburn is a private retirement community immediately adjacent to Interstate I-5. It is also only a short drive to the clear mountain streams of the Cascade Mountains or to the sparkling beaches of the Pacific Ocean. From the time the first home was completed in 1961, it has grown into a community of 1511 privately owned homes surrounding a private 18-hole golf course and a one million dollar clubhouse complex.

This narrow course has a defined cut of rough and trees bordering all its fairways. There are only a dozen sand bunkers on the course, and no water hazards, so all the trouble comes from the narrow fairways. The small greens have medium speed and some undulation that includes a few severe breaks. The course was built on flat terrain, but the scenery is beautiful.
