As you might expect, the quality of the Running Y golf course is as spectacular as the surrounding environment. Playing through rolling terrain with mature pine forests and scenic wetlands, the only Arnold Palmer-designed course in Oregon was named the 1998 "Best new affordable public golf course" in the nation by Golf Digest. Ambling along meadows and through restored wetlands on the front nine, you will play beside lakes, woodlands and into Payne Canyon on the back. With five tee boxes at each hole, our championship-caliber course welcomes varied skill levels and showcases the natural landscape on the edge of the beautiful unspoiled Oregon outback. As a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System, this spectacular course also helps preserve and enhance the beauty that sets the Running Y Ranch apart.
