Description:

Heron Lakes Golf Club is conveniently located less than 10 miles north of downtown Portland, between the Willamette River and the Columbia Slough. Designed by renowned golf course architects Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son Robert Trent Jones II, Heron Lakes Golf Club offers two distinct championship 18-hole golf courses catering to multiple skill levels.

The more challenging Great Blue Course, which debuted in 1992, better suits the skilled golfer and is a favorite challenge for those with a low handicap. The 6,902 yard course has fairways that ramble between Scottish-style mounds and pose a collection of excellent risk/reward riddles for all four sets of tees.

Both courses at Heron Lakes are carefully maintained and have the reputation of being in the best condition of any public golf course in the area.
